Upon arrival at the Bartlett Inn, we were welcomed with an "upgrade" to one of the cottages due to the main guest house being closed. the cozy cottage boasted a gas fireplace, cable TV, and air conditioning, making it a comfortable retreat. the property's rich history as an inn for over 100 years added to its charm and character, creating a homey atmosphere. Despite the promising features, the experience took a downturn. the condition of the cottage was subpar, with peeling paint, old furniture, and outdated facilities. It fell short of the expectations set by the online description, leaving us feeling misled and dissatisfied. The location of the Bartlett Inn was convenient for our White Mountain activities, but the overall stay did not live up to the expectations. the property showed potential with its unique decor and amenities, but the lack of maintenance and unmet promises ultimately overshadowed its appeal. For a truly enjoyable and comfortable stay, it's advisable to explore other accommodation options in the area.
